DollarLingo Terms of Use

You must be at least 13 years old to create a DollarLingo account. If you are under 18, you may use DollarLingo only with permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

DollarLingo is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity through your account. Contact us promptly at dollarlingo@bondkirk.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Do not sell, transfer, or share your account, or create an account on behalf of another person without their permission.

DollarLingo is provided for personal, non-commercial learning. You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, resell, or republish DollarLingo lessons or other content without our written permission.

• Circumvent the site's security, scoring, or access controls.

• Disrupt the site, app or DollarLingo's email services, or interfere with another person's use of the site or app.

• Use DollarLingo to violate applicable law.

• Post objectionable content (including, but not limited to, obscenities, hateful speech, sexual content, violent content or commercial content) or send objectionable content to DollarLingo via email or social media.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account has violated these Terms or is harming the service or its users.

The DollarLingo name, lessons, questions, artwork, mascot, software, and other materials are owned by BondKirk Inc. or its licensors and may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use DollarLingo for your own learning while you follow these Terms. This permission does not transfer ownership to you. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission, except where the law allows.

DollarLingo provides general educational information. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment, security, or financial product.

We are not your financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting adviser. Consider your own circumstances and consult a qualified professional before making decisions where appropriate.

Examples, calculations, rates, and simulations are for teaching purposes. They may use assumptions or outdated information, are not guaranteed results, and may not reflect actual offers or future performance.

Creating a DollarLingo account is free as of the effective date of these Terms.

We may offer optional paid features or subscriptions in the future. Before you make a purchase, we will display the applicable price and material billing terms. We will not charge you for a paid feature unless you choose to purchase it.

Any paid feature or subscription may have additional terms presented at the time of purchase.

You may stop using DollarLingo at any time. To request account closure, email dollarlingo@bondkirk.com.

We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

We may update DollarLingo, add or remove features or lessons, or revise these Terms. We will post revised Terms on this page and change the effective date.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by email or an in-product message. If you continue using DollarLingo after revised Terms take effect, that continued use means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

DollarLingo is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep the service available and its educational content useful, but we do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every learner's needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BondKirk Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from decisions you make based on general educational content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

DollarLingo may link to websites or services operated by others. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or DollarLingo must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Virginia, unless applicable law requires a different location. You and DollarLingo agree to the jurisdiction of those courts, subject to any rights that cannot be waived by law.
